It was an extra special experience. I loved staying in this absolutely amazing place. The hotel's location was central, in alleys. What's more, it was adjacent to the Medina for all ingredients, the center of Marrakesh and the caothic Marrakech.

The most I liked location and staff was very helpful. Rooms were nicely designed.
During our stay there was a problem with a hot water. Also credit card machine didn't work so we have to withdrawn the money from cash machine to pay for our stay

Last time we stopped we had a gorgeous, spotless room with several chairs. Location: the hotel was right by the main square.

Dar Zahia is a stunning riad that is almost 300 years old, with authentic Moroccan islamic interiors which are immaculately maintained. There are only a few rooms in the riad so if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing break, this is a great place to stay. The rooms are large with plenty of space and have large bathrooms with semi-detached walk-in wardrobe. All the rooms have access to a small but beautiful terrace with couches in a covered area. Additionally, the 2 rooms upstairs both have access to a small balcony area. Breakfast, served in the courtyard, was a selection of fresh pastries, coffee and orange juice. The staff are welcoming and helpful. We had some good chats with Tariq, the caretaker, who also helped us book outings including hammam and spa. Our friends arrived 1 day early and had dinner in the riad which they really enjoyed. Overall this riad is great value for money and a must-see. We were told by staff at another riad we visited for dinner that Dar Zahia is well known in Marrakech for its beautiful interior...Would recommend organising airport transfers as the riad is difficult to find. However this isn't a negative as the winding streets only add to the charm of Marrakech.
The only minor negative comment I had was that the water pressure in the shower was variable, especially when other guests are showering at the same time.

The staff are all very helpful. They arranged to pick us up from Cassablanca late at night and made sure that there was food when we arrived. Nothing was TTI much trouble. It's very centrally located, although a little bit hard to find although they will guide you. The other thing I'd say is that it is a traditional Riad with very beautiful and with an inticately painted courtyard and wonderful rooms. Well worth the price.

This riad is so romantic and beautifull. It was my 4th times there and it's still so awesome! The staff is treating guest like "Kings". And the location is perfect too.

We loved the design of our room! It was nicely decorated and cozy!
We arrived at night and would have never found the Riad except some young kids offered to help us for a small fee! We did contact the Riad in advance and they offered to help us get to the Riad but we didn't know our exact arrival time or have a working cell phone. It ended up working out just fine!

Great Breakfast & Attentive Staff the breakfast was amazing and the staff were really attentive. the location was right in the heart of the city, surrounded by restaurants and spas making it very easy to get around. Another great perk was the cleanliness of the hotel, it was very well maintained.
Payment Issues & Hard to Find Unfortunately, we had some payment issues as we were not able to pay with a card as previously arranged. finding the hotel was difficult, the alleys leading to the hotel were not lit up and it was hard to navigate especially for older people.

I had an amazing stay at this luxurious hotel in Marrakesh. The location was perfect, right in the center of everything and close to all the attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had a comfortable stay. The room was beautifully decorated and cleaned daily. The breakfast spread was absolutely delicious and kept me full for hours. The hotel also offered a range of services, including car hire and tours, making it really convenient for exploring the city.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this place.

Hidden away Riad, friendly staff, wonderful breakfast, spacious room, central location.
Hard to think of anything.

The staff were incredibly friendly and gave us great tips for exploring the city. The location was perfect for our business trip, with easy access to public transport and local restaurants. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options to choose from, including fresh fruit and pastries. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with comfortable beds and plenty of storage space.
The WiFi connection could have been faster at times, which was a bit frustrating when we needed to work online. The street noise could get quite loud at night, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Also, we would have appreciated clearer instructions on how to find the hotel as the initial directions we received were a bit confusing.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel, with the best aspects being the friendly and accommodating staff, delicious breakfast, and central location right in the heart of the city. Despite being tucked away in the winding streets, the hotel was very close to the center of town and we could easily walk to all the main attractions. The cleanliness of the rooms and hotel facilities were also noteworthy.
